Tayport Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of striker Paul Sludden. Paul joins the club from Broughty Athletic and is available for selection for tomorrow's game against Brechin Victoria.
On the signing of Sludden manager Eddie Wolecki Black said, "Firstly I would like to welcome Paul to the club. Paul is a vastly experienced player and will add to the depth of our squad. Any player that has something about them welcomes a challenge and we aim to establish a competitive environment here at Tayport. I hope the players will see the benefit of looking over their shoulder and knowing there is someone waiting to step up should there be an opportunity. No one can be guaranteed to start every week, otherwise we lose that competitive edge. Paul adds to the fight for places and in time will prove to be an asset for the team, I wish him all the best."
On signing for the Port Paul had this to say, "I'm delighted to join Tayport, a club with a fantastic history in the junior game and I’m looking forward to working with the new manager, his coaching staff and the players. I’m excited about the challenge ahead and hope to contribute to the team with my experience. Hopefully we can have a positive second half to the season and get the team as high up the league as possible."
Welcome to the club Paul!
