Rikki Gillespie signs for the Port!

Tayport Football Club are thrilled to announce the signing of Rikki Gillespie. Rikki who can play upfront and in midfield joins the club from Broughty Athletic. As well as Broughty Rikki has also previously played for Forfar West End, Montrose Roselea, Arbroath Victoria and Brechin Victoria.

Manager Daryl McKenzie played with Rikki last season and on his signing Daryl said, “I am absolutely delighted to get the signing of Rikki Gillespie over the line. Broughty signed him after a very impressive time at Forfar West End and he did really well for Broughty last season scoring a good number of goals. He is a really versatile player and he can play anywhere across the front three or he can be part of a front two. I think he adds real quality to our squad, he’s got a real creative style of play and I’m sure he will be a really important player for us going forward.”

Everyone at Tayport FC is really pleased that we have been able to bring Rikki to the Canniepairt and we wish him the very best.

Welcome to the Port Rikki!
