It has been a busy 5 weeks for the Port playing 9 matches in 35 days and during this time we have suffered a number of injuries. As the matches continue to come thick and fast we wanted to give you an update from the medical room and let you know which players are currently out injured and when they might hopefully return to the squad.
Sam Sanchez injured his hamstring in the match against East Craigie and will hopefully return to the squad in a 1 weeks’ time.
Bradie Heggie also injured his hamstring when playing against Scone Thistle but will hopefully be back in the squad in 2 weeks’ time.
Gordon Norrie has a muscle strain and will be out for about 2 weeks.
Jim Malone injured his knee in one of our pre-season friendlies and has not yet played for the Port in the league, but will hopefully return to the squad in 3 weeks’ time.
Jamie Gill limped off during Saturday’s win against Broughty Athletic with a hamstring injury and will be out for 2/3 weeks.
Ewan White has a muscle strain and is being looked after by the physios at his parent club Dundee FC, return date still to be confirmed.
Lastly, Greg White continues to be out with a knee injury and the date of his return is currently unknown.
